    WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION?
    My primary motivation is to be a good example of health, fitness and nutrition for my husband and four children. What motivates me personally is having a goal set for myself. There is a sense of accomplishment that comes from finishing a race that you have spent months training for.

    WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?
    My biggest accomplishment to date is definitely finishing the Ironman. In preparation for the race, I had to train 30-40 hours a week while putting another 40 hours in at the office, and not neglect my husband and family in the process. Not many people can keep up that intensity, and not burn out.

    WHO IS YOUR HERO?
    The people who inspire me the most are the everyday Janes. I surround myself with other women who just get out the door everyday and do it. They juggle careers, families and training. They make me want to be better. Their ability to balance their lives, combined with their dedication to their sport is what inspires me to keep going.

    WHAT DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST ABOUT YOUR SPORT?
    EVERYTHING. The training aspect of triathlon is grueling and vigorous. You have to be fully committed and disciplined. I enjoy competing against myself, and pushing to my limit. I would have to say that the most enjoyable part for me is the company of fellow athletes. From training partners to new people that I meet on the circuit, you find that everyone has a story that brought them to the sport we love.

    WHY IS TAKING CARE OF YOUR FEET IMPORTANT TO YOU?
    Your feet are the foundation for our body. They are an intricate part of training, racing, and general well-being. If they are not cared for then everything else crumbles.
